To install this software

  1. Print this page if you want to use it as a reference when you are offline.

  2. Quit any applications that are running, including all Office applications, Microsoft Messenger, and Office Notifications, because they might interfere with installation. You can click on the icon in the dock and select quit. We recommend using Google Chrome during this process.

    2. If you are in Chrome the download will show up at the bottom left of the window

    3. If you are using Firefox it will prompt you to save the file. The download window will open showing the download progress.
  4. Double-click the file you downloaded in step 3 to place the Remote Desktop Connection volume on your desktop, and then double-click the Remote Desktop Connection volume to open it. This step might have been performed for you. If you do not see where the file was downloaded to, open your downloads folder and look for a file named RDC_2.1.1_All.dmg

  5. The RDC window will open and look like the following:

  6. In the RDC volume window, double-click the RDC Installer package to start the installation process, and then follow the instructions on the screen.
